Because the aligners are removable, you can continue to enjoy all your favorite foods and beverages as you always have. You can even enjoy enhanced oral hygiene since you are able to remove your aligners and brush and floss thoroughly. The aligners themselves can be easily cleaned with the Invisalign cleaning kit, or they can simply be gently brushed and rinsed. Braces are often difficult to clean around without special flossing tools and careful brushing. Although the fact that they are removable is an attractive feature, they must still be worn at least 20 to 22 hours a day to achieve maximum results.
